Animation of Ideas

I recently went to Inman Connect in San Francisco. Tons of great Ideas and very smart people talking about RE issues.  One of the most compelling items for me was the use of animation to convey ideas in a very fun way. We have all the equipment so we decided to write a script and try it. I would love feedback on this first attempt. Does it hold your attention? does it convey a message? What is the message? is it entertaining? thanks for the help:)

    Garron,
I saw your request for feedback over on Facebook. I think it’s great! What a cool tool to use to convey ideas simply and with the ability to use humor and creativity.

I know I need to give you some credit for using your Modern homes site with Teds face;)

    Garron -

Kudos to your team for putting this together! It’s awesome.

If this real estate thing don’t work out, you could probably make a bundle making these animation vids. :)

That’s awesome Garron! Pretty great use of Animation. Which tool did you use?

Btw, when are we talking blogging again? :-)

Installed WordPress blog on my hosting site. Much easier than I thought; wish I had started on WordPress first versus Blogger….oh well, we all learn at different times and speeds.

See you soon…how about over coffee??

Yes it holds my attention. Yes it conveys a message: that M Realty helps Ted bring himself to the world (not sure I buy the message but it does come through). Yes, it’s entertaining and I think I’d like it even better if Ted’s head were a real picture of him. I’d like for all the stick figures to have real faces in fact.

Thank you Kathleen. I will try faces that’s a great Idea. What makes you skeptical of the message? is it the idea in general or something in the way the vid presents.

    thank you!

Okay so it conveys NATURAL, soulful, real, and my favorite word, CONGRUENCY between my life as an agent and my life—they are the same and everything flows….they are not separate. The M message rings true–because I am living it right now. Garron, Simon, Haley and I spent 3 hours Monday just to map out my first 45 days of my 2010 plan. I’m not in this by myself hanging in the wind, drinking a bottle of wine every night trying to get through 25 soliciting phone calls so I can check off that I did it. I don’t do my business that way AND I’m supported by you guys for how I DO build my business. I am SO EXCITED! So Yes–love the animation. Love M. Love Ted. Ready for Claire stick figure.

Awesome stick-vid-clip Garron. I love it! Simon, your voice fits perfect for this role. Will there be a sequel and will Ted and Sue hook up? Clair, we can both drink a bottle of wine every night and do real estate work. But instead of soliciting phone calls, we can blog about how Real Estate and wine go so well together. And then whoever does a Google search on Real Estate and wine will find our blog… Although, Peter Bouman is the master of that category.
